OK, this time it looks a bit more severe, more than just a compile-
time problem.

I can run rpcbind (with -lL flags) and then I can use rpcinfo to see
what's happening locally.

But, if I specify a transport, either tcp or udp, it fails miserably,
with

rpcinfo: can't contact rpcbind: RPC: (unknown error code)

And, checking in /var/log/messages, I find that rpcbind had some kind
of problem starting up:

Jun 4 17:22:54 alpha1 rpcbind: cannot get local address for udp: servname not supported for ai_socktype
Jun 4 17:22:54 alpha1 rpcbind: cannot get local address for tcp: servname not supported for ai_socktype

And, checking with netstat -a I find out that nothing is listening on
the sunrpc sockets for either udp or tcp.

(I think I would also have gotten more errors for udp6 and tcp6, but I
commented those two lines out of /etc/netconfig since I don't run an
INET6 enabled kernel.)

Where do I go from here? :)
