... hint ... if you are building a socksified ssh then beware that it
will try to use socks all the time.  I built a socksified version of
ssh by configuring a different destination for ssh
(/usr/local/socksified) and then aliased rssh to be
/usr/local/socksified/bin/ssh in my shell setup.  This actually may
just be an artifact of my socks set up - I could never convince socks
to go direct to internal machines using the socks.conf.
