I found that if I disable dhclient in /etc/rc.conf and set up that interface
manually, ifconfig reports correctly.

Another thing I'm now noticing is that route(8) shows lots of bizarre stuff
in its Appletalk routes section. I'll try disabling Netatalk to see if that
makes any difference. Maybe there's some kind of funky interaction between
Netatalk and DHCP, although Netatalk should only be talking to one interface,
and dhclient should only be talking to the other interface, FWIW.
