This just started happening after installing -current as of a few days
ago.  The process table fills up with these zombie processes;

11148 ??  Z      0:00.00 (named-xfer)

They don't disappear until I kill -9 (straight kill isn't enough) the
following process;

22225 ??  Rs   330:15.40 /usr/sbin/named /etc/namedb/named.conf

There is still a named process running;

15641 ??  Ss     0:00.20 /usr/sbin/named /etc/namedb/named.conf

meanwhile, the disk fills up with the following lines in /var/log/messages.

Feb 12 07:26:49 smaug named[22225]: accept: Too many open files
Feb 12 07:26:49 smaug named[22225]: accept: Too many open files
Feb 12 07:26:49 smaug named[22225]: ctl_accept: accept: Too many open files

It repeats just like that, two "accept" messages and one "ctl_accept"
message. As soon as I kill off the process and delete the file it starts
filling the disk again. Anyone have any ideas what might be going on?
