I'm looking for a free POP3 server that does support SSL.

Is there anything out there yet (or patches to one of the well known ones?)

If not, I'll have to write support code for one of our pkg's; is there a 
good tutorial on writing SSL stuff, or at least docs of the API?

The docs that come with OpenSSL are not worth the few bytes of disk space
they use. Seems they've been written by fgrep ;-)
