I've tried your patches, and they work if one has a portmap running with
-ld flags. As this is not the normal case, I wonder how anyone should ever
notice such lossage if it doesn't occur as massive as w/ FrameMaker (i.e.
if it's just 1-2 requests that get lost, without the spinning FM does).
Then again, with such apps as FM, logfiles may fill quickly if we enable
this by default. I think we should leave it off. 

One minor nit: Please s/"decline/" decline/g in the two cases to add some
extra whitespace: 

portmap[28644]: connect from 194.95.108.191 to set(1138727320) declined (non-loopback sender)
