Thanks for the suggestion.  I had already turned on all the PCI-BIOS
entries which (as of a couple of weeks ago) were needed to get the
card probed. I guess it changed.  That's enough to get the netgear
card recognized. NOw it says unknown phy, attaches ukphy, and cannot
see a link parter. The same cable and card works under Windows...


but, Since there are cardbus machines which need these options, is
there any reason not to include them in the CARDBUS config?  Anyone
object if I do that?  After all, we need to turn *all* the cardbus
support, including any required pcibios patches, in
/sys/arch/386/conf/GENERIC for the next release, or release GENERIC
kernels wont work on cardbus machines.

I think the same goes for the mouse and wscons entries, too.
Shouldn't we be aiming to merge everything in CARDBUS back into
GENERIC?
