I compiled BIND 8.2.2p5 from current sources on an 1.4.1 i386 system a few
minutes ago. I only had to create "/usr/share/examples/named" manually,
everything else worked fine.

It works indeed:

Nov 30 13:10:04 colwyn named[3481]: starting. named 8.2.2-P5 Tue Nov
30 13:05:55 CET 1999
tron@colwyn.zhadum.de:/amd/lyssa/src/NetBSD-current/src/usr.sbin/bind/named

I see no reason not to request a pull up.

	Kind regards
