Sorry that was a pasting error. It actually is 'idle 120' in my config file.

The active-filter option causes an error but I have tried the active-filter-in 
and active-filter-out options with 'not port ntp' which makes no difference.

I did. I think I need to raise some PR's about the filter specification 
and about the documentation for the now defunct active-filter option.
