Aha. Well, I guess I did TRT then. I just need to tell kppp really to use
ATL3 instead of ATL4 for the modem volume, as this Elsa MicroLink 56k USB
doesn' understnad L4 either (just as my other 28.8 MicroLink).

I'm typing this with the USB modem attached to a Tecra 8000 - good work!
