Hi,

It seems like I've got a couple of bad sectors in i-node area of my
laptop's internal IDE hard disk.

I can't make a full back-up, reformat the entire drive hoping that it
might map the bad sectors out by itself, and restore the data.

Is there any way I can map them out? badsect of course doesn't work
since the bad sectors are not in data area but in i-node area.

Any idea?

TIA

Ken
