I've seen a CardBus USB controller, which makes sense, since it's
almost a no-brainer in terms of silicon. Don't remember the brand, but
it was in the local generic computer store months and months ago.

The data rate of USB and the lack of usable DMA on PCMCIA controllers
makes a non-CardBus PC Card USB controller pretty unlikely.
