Oh yeah, I remember from the MSDOS days, you could have a MGA card and
another card (EGA/VGA) in the machine, and switch between them using
"mode mono" and "mode co80". Win 3.x let you set things up so that
OutputDebugString() debugging output went to the monochrome monitor
while the rest of windows was on the color monitor... the MGA video RAM
gets put at a different address... 0xb8000 maybe?
