Subject: 3COM 3C574 status?

What's the status on the 3C574 working with the ep driver?

I recently installed the 07041999 i386 snapshot on a new notebook
with one of these, and when trying to configure the interface get
the following message repeated until the card is pulled:

    ep1: adapter failure (2003)

I found a post from Laine Stump in the archives from back in March,
and it looks like some progress has been made since then, but the MAC
address still isn't getting set correctly. Is anyone currently
working on this driver? Is there anything I can do to help?
