After today's sup, my macppc kernel panics early during boot with
the message: bufpages = 0.

The quick fix is to define options BUFPAGES in the kernel configuration
file, but the code around the panic leads me to think that this should
not really be necessary -- maybe physmem is zero ?

I suspect that this is a (port specific?) side effect of one of the touch-all-ports
changes yesterday or the day before...
