You want more compatible scsi? Then help out michael hitch to finish
migrating to the MI scsi code. Or lift the autoconfig code from the
hp300 port and glue it in.

You want your own file? simple, Write your own config file, with
inline copies of the stuff you want included.  

you have to maintain it yourself already; what's the difference?
