Hi,

I just tried the 1.4-beta installation on a different machine and
there it worked just fine, so the problem really -is- the boot disks,
no more doubt. I'd also like to add that I am using the other machine
(the one where the boot kernel doesn't come up) for more than 3 years
now and I have successfully installed NetBSD there ever since the 1.1
release! So definitely something has been broken between the 1.3.2 and
the 1.4 beta release.

Furthermore, I successfully installed a -current snapshot in this
machine, too, about three months ago.
