You can hide them in the microwave.  Its the perfect neutron-bomb --
destroys the data without hurting the jewel case or the documentation.

(Note: I would never think of doing this to the free netcom disks the
greeters shove in your face when visiting local stores. I would
certainly never put them back in their "in" pile the next time I went
to that store. ;-))
