After starting a make in a directory of /usr/pkgsrc
and deciding things are not going well (something
is broken) i hit ctrl-c. This kills the current subdir
build, but the next directory is then started in the
tree and this one can't be killed at all. In addition,
the sheer number of ps entries makes it very difficult to
determine what to kill afterwards. Should it not be
possible to hit ctrl-c to kill the parent and all child
processes of the make?

system is a dec alpha multia running -current
