I've committed a change that removes /usr/local/lib from the default
shared library search path of ld.elf_so; see PR bin/7146 for the
rationale for this change.  If executables on your system happen to
depend on this particular default configuration, you need to either
adjust your LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable accordingly, or
re-link the affected executables with an appropriate Rpath
specification.
