	This is another good point.  In addition to writing out thing such
as a Samba config if I'm going to be running Samba, I also write out the
following two files every time I update a lease for whenever something may
need to do know what's going on:

-rw-r--r--  1 root  wheel  1229 Mar 16 22:14 /etc/dhcpenv.csh
-rw-r--r--  1 root  wheel  1810 Mar 16 22:14 /etc/dhcpenv.sh

	For instance, the following shell script is called from my .login:

. /etc/dhcpenv.sh

if [ -f $HOME/.dhcp/pinerc.$new_domain_name ]
then
    # "Setting up pine for $new_domain_name"
        rm $HOME/.pinerc
        ln -s $HOME/.dhcp/pinerc.$new_domain_name $HOME/.pinerc
fi
