It has been a while since i last tried to build current. I
notice that there have been some changes (which I truly wanted
the last time I was trying to keep up... well done.)
The only glitch is that I haven't figured out exactly how to
use the building in a separate obj directory. I could just try
it and see what happens, but it takes a good while to reload the
source directory (which I DO have tarred up to restore.)

The upshot is... I don't see any included docs or examples on
how to build current (I am doing the old "make build" right now
but that puts everything in the /usr/src dir.)

If there is a howto laying about someplace could someone point it
out to me. I am sure I'll manage, but having the actual "proper
method" known would help expedite matters. Thanks.
