This might be the alpha regex thing which caused sed
to break for certain patterns what in turn sabotaged
"configure". An indication is that the automatically
generated "config.h" doesn't define things it should,
in this particular case probably "HAVE_NL_TYPES_H".
If it is the problem, rebuild and reinstall libc
(especially libc/regex). Make sure you got regexec.c
rev. 1.12.
