1.3.3 is the next release on the 1.3 code tree -- yes, it is the same code
as 1.3 with the changes that have deliberately been put into that branch.

1.3"I" is a point on the NetBSD-current "trunk"; it is a lightyear more
advanced than 1.3.[0123], and is what 1.4 will be based on.  We are still
planning a 1.4, but not for a little while yet.

The 1.2, 1.2.1, and 1.2[ABCDEFG] version numbers used the same scheme.

As to 2.0, there's all kinds of debate on what should determine that, so I
won't even try.  :>
