Yes, let's please do this.

I'm guessing that nearly everyone who wants to install on a low end machine
will also have a decent machine available. If people want automated 4M i386
installation, then let's give them a package to set up a custom FTPD that
only allows access to the tarballs, and make sure the El Scripto installer
has good network setup options.
