Its no great shakes, but I just do a diff of GENERIC and WSRCC (my
kernel) while ignoring all leading comments and spaces (eg. "^# *").
Anything thats in GENERIC but not in WSRCC gets copied by hand. All
my additions in WSRCC are tagged with my initials, so any addition
thats flagged by diff that isn't tagged gets removed. Its not exactly
automatic, but its not as painful as rehacking a GENERIC from scratch
every week or so.
