...huh?  Is this a machine-specific thing?  Because there are machines
supported by NetBSD, like many SPARCs, where ethernets don't have
individual MAC addresses.  The *machine* has a MAC address, which the
drivers stuff into the interfaces at boot time (on some machines; the
PROM code may do it on others).  This *is* current-users, not
port-whatever....
