Thanks to Michael, I managed to get a good build on my i386 platform last
night. Now, I jave just 2 remaining issues which I hope someone can help
with.

1) After reboot, once the machine is in multiuser, I get the following
messages in my /var/log/message log file...

I'm using /proc, /kern and /dev/fd filesystems, would it be the /dev/fd
filesystem messing me up here?

While this is going on, I am unable to make any socket connections into the
machine, telnet, ftp, et, although I can ping the machine.

The second, I have recently obtained a scsi card and a viper tape drive...

aic0 at isa0 port 0x340-0x35f irq 11
scsibus0 at aic0: 8 targets

So far, so good. Recognises the scsi card...
scsibus0 targ 1 lun 0: <ARCHIVE, VIPER 150 21247, -005> SCSI1 1/sequential
remo
vable not configured

Not so good. ..

Any ideas how I can get this working with -current?

I can email my kernel config file if anyone would think it'd help.

Regards
Nigel
