I find that I need to revert to a known-good -current, as I've got some
problems on my system, and can't wait any longer for the signal stuff to be
resolved... can someone tell me what the date of the last-known good
compile before the signal changes began was? (wow... that sentence sounds
incredibly clunky!)

The platform I'm most interested in is alpha, if it matters.

Thanks!
