Subject: problems with NCR with multiple drives

I just added a new drive to my file server. A 4Gb Quantum VIKING (SCA
with an adaptor to Ultra+Wide).
My suspicion is that there is some parameter that needs tuning on
the NCR driver.... I have 6 devices, counting LUNs and adaptor, 8.
The system hangs at the end of the boot sequence with:
ncr0: no ccb.
sd3: not queued, error 5

I can get into the debugger at this point, but it just was sitting
in idle.

The boot messages are below. After rebooting twice, checking
the file systems, etc. and then going multiuser, it occurs again.
I removed the new drive from the chain, and now the boot blocks
can't load the kernel from the boot drive. I don't know if this
is a SCSI problem, or file system damage yet... I left my boot disk
at my other office... NetBSD1.3.2 CDROM to the rescue. More later.
