  I can't speak for the 2G drives, but I have a 1G drive and have found it
quite useful.  The down side is that I've had 3 out of a pack of 5 of the
disk cartridges fail in one year.  That, of course, shouldn't be too much
of a problem for builds, as long as you have a spare or two on hand--Iomega
replaces them for free.
