I take it that 1.3 X distribution is of version 3.3.1? I downloaded
XFree86 3.3.2 source and want to compile.

The server link kit allow you to rebuild just the X server with a minimum
amount of disk space. Just unpack it, make the appropriate changes to the
xf86site.def, type ``./mkmf'' and ``make'' to link the server. See
/usr/X11R6/lib/Server/README for more info.

I can't find mkmf anywhere.. found xmkmf in the /usr/X11R6/bin directory.
Also there is no such tree: /usr/X11R6/lib/Server/. Am I missing
something?

I have also install the NetBSD X binaries from 1.3.
