Folks,
        I did a send-pr yesterday to fix a bug in the scsi scanner
support.  Basically the problem was that if the scanner was not
recognised then the kernel would page fault when the scanner was
accessed.  Of course, because I have an unrecognised scanner (a umax
630) I cannot tell if my fix broke things.  If anyone is interested
can they have a look at kern/5432 to check it works ok with a
recognised scanner?
