Yes. Tho' I dont know what the XX in baseXX is. With release(7), we
dont have version numbers in individual sets.

No indeed not. And no reason to store six copies of a unified m68k
userland.  Nor two copies of mipsel when we get the arc port integrated.

Splitting base and comp into ${MACHINE_ARCH}-shareable and truly
${MACHINE}-specific would fix that. It'd mean more changes to
release(7) and install tools, though.
