What is the preferred way of building shared libraries within
package ? As there are differences in building them on a.out and
ELF systems, there are basically two approaches - special case ELF
systems (this is definitely unnecesary redundancy) or convert build
Makefile to one using <bsd.lib.mk> (this is harder to maintain).

For example gdbm package builds only static library just now
(with pkgsrc from Jan/10/1998) and there may exist some others too.
