The other day somebody mentioned that that Yamaha OPL3-SA
(that is on my Gateway2000 Solo 9100, notebook) works with
the soundblaster driver
sb0 220-22f irq5 drq 1 v3.01

I've been able to send .au files to /dev/audio 
cat balllost.au >/dev/audio but after the original
message 'Oh shit! (xboing)' it plays a noise that sounds
like two modems negotiating a connection. The 'cat never
finishes and after couple of moments it repeats the modem
noise, this goes on until I Ctrl-C it. What am I missing?
