Just a note for those who don't know...
Unless I'm mistaken, the sun4c systems and the macII have the same
serial hardware (Zilog 8530).  I've been running the Mac serial port
on my Quadra 700 (also an 8530) at 57600 (on a 33.6 modem with
compression).
