Hum, I just commited a fix to support this option.
I think, if we don't support it, that the new way of doing it should
be documented at last in the man page. An informational message (a la '-k')
would also be a good idea.

Using gdb to patch kernel's variables is current use in *BSD. If FSF has
a bad user support for this, we have to correct it.
