Er, no--this stuff is hairy enough and other folks have been trying to
sort it out--I'd prefer that <cjs>, <veego> and <drochner> (who have
mucked with rc recently) all conspire to figure out how to do this
correctly.  The mount order has been frobbed several times already;
adding me to the mix will probably make it worse.
