Without intending to pass any judgment whatsoever on Chris' particular
license terms, wouldn't it be less likely to lead to controversy for the
Project to require that any contributions be made under the existing
license terms, or not made at all, and have a separate, easy to initiate,
way to amend those terms if they caused a particular developer or his
employer problems. The thought being that the terms could then change from
time to time if necessary, but in the mean time, everyone would be treated
identically, and there would be no doubt about the terms in effect for any
submission.
