First, the specific question:

I want to tune the in-memory filesystem cache. How do I make a
really, incredibly, disgustingly huge cache? (I'd like to experiment
with different cache sizes on an NFS server.)

Second, the general question:

Is there a place I can go to find a list of tunable kernel parameters?
I've looked at options(4), which lists mostly boolean options; and
I've looked at param.c, which declares lots of parameters, but leaves
quite a few unexplained.
