Okay, I commented out the printf() which generated the si_intr warnings
about SBC, so I could see what the other problem was. ;-)

Now, the kernel boots, and gets all the way to 'Building Databases'
in rc before exiting out to the Debugger with:

pmap_fault: kernel_map & va < avail

This is special. ;-) Any idea what to check on here? I'm stumped
as to how to debug this.
