Aren't they?  We're going to see more and more network protocols that
use 64-bit integers, and if they're sane they're going to be in network
byte order.  I'd say some sort of [hn]to[nh]* functions for 64-bit
quantities should be there; I'll leave the names up to someone else.
(I think they should be hton64 and ntoh64, but I also think the current
[nh]to[hn][sl] should be renamed to be ?to?32 and ?to?16...even though
I know that will never fly simply for compatability reasons.)
