the new swapctl(2) includes two commands, SWAP_NSWAP and
SWAP_STATS, which are used by swapctl(8) to get the swap
information.  the recent top patches posted use this
interface also, and should xosview.  it's fairly simple
to use.  see swapctl(2) for more details.
