I just looked at this. One plus-side is that it is no longer required to
be suid-root. On the minus-side is that your must keep around the old
rdist if you want to be able to rdist to or from other machines running
old rdist.

Heck, all I want is to make it through an entire run without exhausting
my VM! :-O
