/usr/libexec/ld.so: Undefined symbol "_bpf_dump" in pppd:/usr/lib/libpcap.so.0.0

Is this meaningful?  Harmful?  Informative?

It doesn't appear to go away easily... I'm looking around, and it looks
like libpcap is set up for debugging, so I'm removing the -DBDEBUG -g
from CFLAGS, and I'll see if that gets it.
