I just committed a fix to the if_ep driver that should fix Mattias
Drochner's  problem.  The patched driver will be sup'able tomorrow.

I've verified it works on a diskful 3c595, but the driver worked
there already :). If someone could verify that:

	* the new driver still works on a 3c509

	* the new driver correctly works on a diskless machine,
	  or when a kernel is halted before the interface is brought up
	  (i.e,. Mattias' two bugs)

I'd appreciate it.
