Hi,

I tried a new kernel (i386) with the setroot changes, but it reboots
right before or after the memory output.

This is a P133 with 64MB Ram. I made some minor changes to the GENERIC
config (some devices are removed and i added VM86).

So be carefull to make a backup of your old kernel.
