BTW, whether or not the claim of "lack of portability" is correct or
incorrect is irrelevant to my point.

My point is that if you're going to make such a claim in public, you
should actually try or at least be able to demonstrate your point well
enough to convince someone.  Certainly, you wouldn't like it if people
made derogatory claims about some aspect of NetBSD without justifying
them.  Therefore, why not show others the same respect that you
expect?
