How much of a *compiled* source tree is meaningfully compatible between
different NetBSD ports with the same CPU? My Sun 3/60 is at least an
order of magnitude slower than my 68040 based Amiga; it would be nice if I
could build as much of a tree as possible on the Amiga, and just *install*
it with the slower machine...

I believe binaries are compatible. But can, for instance, the Amiga build
a Sun 3 kernel? I don't see an *obvious* reason why it couldn't, and it'd
be sort of convenient.
